Shriram started NephroLife in 2009 with the vision of providing India's highest quality dialysis and holistic nephrology services. His mission is to improve the quality and longevity of life for all patients at Nephrolife. He has devised unique clinical formats with technology enabled care to change the paradigm in nephrology service delivery. Today, NephroLife is present across six locations in Bangalore with a further fifteen centres in the pipeline across India in the next six months. Nephrolife is poised to be India's largest chain of standalone dialysis and kidney care centres. He recently closed a successful second round of funding with renowned VC major New Enterprise Associates and DaVita Inc. - the second largest kidney care provider worldwide. Shriram began his career at Mars & Co., a boutique consulting firm based out of New York. During his time there, he advised Fortune 500 Companies in FMCG, Automotive and Health Insurance verticals in the United States, China, Hong Kong and India. He then returned to India as CEO of the renowned NU Hospitals, a 75 bed nephro-uro speciality hospital. He is also an Advisory Board Member of InstaHealth Solutions, a Healthcare Information Systems Company. Shriram holds a double major from Carnegie Mellon University in Economics and Information Systems.
